Great piece, Digger! Great line from Shakespeare.
People are making a willful choice to believe what they hear on the mainstream media and let those voices guide them. The truth has NEVER BEFORE been so easily accessible as it is today. People choose not to look for it for many reasons. I have a cousin, middle-aged like myself, who is intelligent and wonderful in all ways. She also loves Fox News and the Republican Party and believes the enemy is whoever these shills say it is. She insists 9/11 happened exactly the way the govt. says. No matter what I say to her, no matter what I give her to read (she throws this stuff in the garbage without reading it, I’m sure), she’s just not interested in thinking differently. The answers she gives me, such as when I bring up WTC 7, are so plainly stupid that I think maybe she’s not very intelligent after all. Or there is a psychological or conditioned block preventing her from entertaining new ideas. She is the majority of Americans. It’s not that people haven’t tried to get through to these people. They choose not to listen and there’s not a damn thing we can do about it.
Here here Patty, we (who are awake) empathize with you. It is indeed a CHOICE. Willful ignorance.
Not only choosing to believe, but choosing to conform to their masters:
Thank you Patty for your contribution
