1/. It will allow us to cope with change

Youth are not only flexible in body, but on mind. As we become older, be become more conditioned, set in our ways. Finding it increasingly more difficult to be flexible to change. This makes us vulnerable, because it ensures we remain in situations which are not working for us. Old destructive habits or just making us stale. A change is good as a rest is a very appropriate phrase. The inability to change – for the better is linked to fear. Fear of the unknown. Having a strong spiritual foundation frees one from this bondage. It allows us embrace new experiences.

Unfortunately we are heading towards tremulous times. There is going to be a lot of upheaval in the world. Not only globally somewhere out there, but in our personal lives. Being spiritually grounded will give us the strength and flexibility to deal with much better.

2/. It will make us stronger

Emotionally and physically. Adopting a spiritual outlook to life helps keep us in balance, in check. It irons out the ups n downs creases in life and give us order. If one shows tenacity with the spiritual path, it helps create an equilibrial. We are conditioned to endlessly run for the next quick-fix rush of the highs and then immediately fall into a depression with the lows. Spirituality really does help keep us on a more even keel.

If we become a more level-headed individual, without the constant emotional traumas; we experience better physical health. Because everything in life, and I do mean everything, is energy. Bitter, angry, aggressive people nearly always end up with arthritic-type problems. It’s just their energy. Of course there our other factors involved, but the term bitter and twisted is very accurate.

3/. It will allow us to self-reflect

That is the beauty and essence of what spirituality is all about – gong within. The ability to self-reflect. Something our rivals seem to be incapable of doing. The true essence of spirituality, no matter what area of the world it is sourced; focuses our attention wholeheartedly on ourselves. But not in a selfish, self-serving way. Not our ego self, but the real eternal Self.

It brings it all back home. What am doing in life? What is my position to my fellow brothers and sisters? How can I serve others? What role have my actions helped to play in all this mess and what can I now do to amend it?

4/. It allows us to be more responsive and less reactive

This is a key aspect and could be described as a nifty little spiritual trick. It not only gets us out of all sorts of awkward positions, but prevents us from getting in to them in the first place. Mind you it does take practice, practice, practice. Old ego-based reactional habits are damn hard to wipe out. React, react, react.

But with enough perseverance we can begin to notice significant differences when we look back on how we used to be. How we used to snap back in reactive mode to any slight criticism or injustice. The two Rs – what a great choice we have in dealing with every situation we are confronted with.

5/. It will allow us to fight smart

When we get out this mess – which we will. It will be important for us to reflect on how did we win? Did we lower ourselves, or did we do what was right? No hatred or revenge, just about sharing the Truth, allowing consciousness to develop. A clean fight. This is what future generations will really appreciate – that we not only did it, but did it the right way.

6/. It provides guidelines and an overall direction

It will help re-condition us and get us back on track. Remind us that mammon ain’t so important to us as a species for survival and there are other more important values in life. It is our Divine MO.

These true mystics, saints, prophets and authentic gurus were no idiots. There really were wise souls in yonder years. They knew the right way. They had it sussed. And thankfully they have their scriptures as guidebooks for us. But will we use them? Or will we get our guidelines from some TV guru informing us of what are the new normals and the best way to adapt for this modern talmudic society?

It’s all there in these ancient scriptures, how to do life. Life for dummies. We just gotta do some reading, do some reflecting and begin to implement this lifestyle.

7/. It enables us to dissolve separatism

The truly spiritual path is polar opposites to separatism. It’s all about connecting up as one. It’s about breaking down divisive divisions. It’s about seeing people as souls and not colours, races, ages, sexes, able-bodied or handicapped and all the plethora of labels and packages we come in. Spirituality is all about union, togetherness, serving others and certainly not putting up with other’s suffering.

Separatism is the root cause of all of our ills.

8/. It sets an example to others who are in this fight

Both for our adversaries and fellow Truthers. That there is a right way and a wrong way to go about things. There are many well-informed advocates for Truth out there. Extremely knowledgeable in their particular fields. They are a huge asset to our armament – but then they go and let the side down by coming from a completely unconscious position. They are racist, hatred, myopic, reactional, vengeful and haven’t really grasped the bigger spiritual picture.

So it’s our position as spiritual warriors to not only embrace this position, but to show example, to influence others in the fight that there is an alternative, more productive, smarter way to fight.

9/. It makes our experiences, our life worthy

If we have a true worthy purpose in life and we pursue this purpose with diligence, with a one-pointed-attention. A magic begins happens in our lives. Strange ‘coincidences’ and golden opportunities just suddenly appear. Out of the blue, out of nowhere.

Our purpose must be altruistic, it must be for the good of all. It must be of goodness of purity. To serve others. This magic won’t happen over night, one must have tenacity. It may take years of selfless non-kudos based service to humanity, before any noticeable rewards happen. And usually the rewards are not what we expect either – they come more in opportunities. Opportunities which on the surface may seem challenges, but once embraced, open up a wealth of abundance.

k

k

10/. It will help erode our fears

Ending this list – this has got to be the most pragmatic of all. Because it is fear that keeps people in apathy mode. It is fear that holds people back from taking action. It is fear that prevents clued-up people from resisting. That is the mind control element they use against us throughout our lives.

But fear is not in alignment with a true spiritual consciousness-based path. Spirituality gently gently helps to dissolve these fears. We become what we absorb. When we immerse ourselves in spiritual reading, a spiritual quest, spiritual companionship, other values come into our lives. We alter benchmarks in our abilities by realistically breaking through fear barriers.

These are the reasons why spirituality is so pragmatic

In conclusion

We are in a spiritual war

Therefore we have to fight this spiritually. This entire agenda is about the darkness usurping the Light. It’s about getting to our souls – It’s that simplistic. It is vital we are mindful of what we are dealing with and try not to get side-tracked in too much finite detail, endless facts, data gathering and expertise.

We can only fight darkness with Light. It’s the only way battles have been successfully fought in the past; as far as having any sustained effect. The classic was Gandhi’s approach to booting the Brits out of India. This oppressive regime was also Jewish influenced. Although Gandhi’s principles are not entirely appropriate these days, as the game plan has changed; the foundational principles to which he aspired to are absolutely still applicable.

Non-hatred, unconditional love, a defiant unbreakable attitude and an altruistic outlook.
