Once upon a time …..

Many moons ago in ancient times there was an elderly man, a young boy and and a donkey.

They were traveling from one city to another weaving their way through the various small villages and hamlets.
k
On one of the first villages they approached the young boy was riding the donkey with the elderly man on foot escorting the donkey along.
k
On viewing this the locals remarked how unfair it was for the old man to be walking and how they should exchange positions.
k
So in reflection the old man saddled the donkey and the young lad took the rein of the donkey and led the way.
k
On approaching the next village the locals there made critical remarks about how ridiculous it was that a grown man was riding the donkey and how unfair of him to allow the young boy to do all of the walking.
k
Once more on reflection the two decided to both hop on the donkey and set on their steady journey.
k
When they reached the next village the villages cussed the two travelers for being so cruel to the poor donkey.
k
Yet further reflection the two decided to both get off and walk alongside the donkey.
k
Once again when they reached the next village the they took more abuse from the locals, this time with ridicule as they said “Look at those couple of twits – they have a donkey and yet they’re both walking”.
k
For the rest of their journey they travelled exactly how they wanted to, swapping and changing to suit themselves and ignoring all the criticism.

If you know in your heart that what you are doing is correct -morally, ethically and you are coming from a place of integrity. Then you absolutely have to take this path.

WHATEVER THE CRITICISMS OF OTHERS

Beautiful elegance. Live and let live. People sometimes speak to me and feel sorry I ride my bike for transportation. I look at them and feel sorry they ride in their car. No explanations needed, they are the locals.

It does not have to be so darn hard and agonizing. Can we get back to simple grace –
